Metric And Inch Steel Tubing

Williams Fluidair stocks seamless steel tubing in metric and inch sizes.

- Typically used for high pressure hydraulic systems and lubrication systems
- Seamless tubes are suitable for bending and flaring and can be connected with any standard tube fitting system or welding
- All tubes are stocked with clear zinc plating for corrosion protection
- All tubes are manufactured in Europe to the highest quality standards

Metric Tubing - seamless steel tubes to EN10305-4 (DIN2391/C NBK) specifications

- Stocked tubes are in material grade E235 (St37.4) with other grades available - Tube sizes from 4mm OD to 50mm OD are stocked in a variety of wall thicknesses

Inch Tubing - seamless steel tubes to SAE J524 specifications

-Tube sizes from 1/4” to 1-1/2” are stocked in a variety of wall thicknesses

These tubes are typically used for hydraulic, pneumatic and instrumentation applications:

• Typical industries include marine, petrochemical, pharmaceutical, food, paper and others where corrosion resistance and cleanliness are very important • Stainless tubes are suitable for bending and can be connected with fittingsor welding

Metric Tubing - seamless precision stainless steel tubes are manufactured to EN10216-5.

- Stocked tubes are in material grade 1.4571 (316Ti) with other grades available
- Tube sizes from 4mm OD to 38mm OD are stocked in a variety of wall thicknesses

Inch Tubing - is available in seamless or welded construction in 304SS or 316SS

- Seamless tubes are manufactured to ASTM A-213 / ASTM A-269
- Welded tubes are manufactured to ASTM A-249 / ASTM A-269

Metric And Inch Copper Tubing

Copper tube is typically used for low pressure hydraulic, pneumatic, lubrication, water, coolant and other applications where easy installation and bendability are required.- Metric coiled copper tubes are manufactured as per EN1057 (previously DIN 1786)
- Coiled tubes stocked in 4, 6, 8 10 and 12mm OD’s in lengths up to 50m
- Straight copper tubes are available in lengths of 5m
- Connections may be made with compression fittings, flare fittings or by soldering

Plastic Tubing

Plastic tube is typically used for pneumatics, air brakes and lubrication applications.

We carry from stock:

Metric sizes in nylon, polyethylene and polyurethane from 4mm – 12mm
- Inch sizes in nylon, polyethylene and polyurethane from 1/8” – 1/2”
- High pressure nylon tube for grease lubrication as per DIN 73378
- Nylon tubing for air brakes as per DIN 74234
